Batch seems to have regressed in the past 2 or 3 seasons since bursting on to the scene as a rookie. He has good leadership qualities and an above average arm but injuries always seem to set him back. He has not had a strong supporting cast in Detroit this year and since Barry Sanders left, the running game has been average at best. Batch doesn’t look like anything special right now.
