Nagging injuries have hampered McNair’s effectiveness this season. When healthy, McNair is very mobile and plays well on the run. He is still not adept at reading defenses and finding his 3rd or 4th option on a play. He is unconventional but effective. McNair took his team within a yard of a Super Bowl title 2 years ago but has yet to prove he can carry a team’s offense.
