The major story of Super Bowl VIII was the Vikings having to practice at an inadequate high school playing field, while the Dolphins practiced at the Houston Oilers' facilities. Vikings' Coach Bud Grant was enraged and spoke out. He was reprimanded by Pete Rozelle.
