Steps to Apply

There is no application form to be filled out. We need only certain documents from you.

You need to send us your:

1. Resume

2. Transcript or copy of your diploma

3. Your passport- we actually need a copy of your passport information/picture page

4.  A recent photo.

Several point here that we need to make. First, if you are graduating soon, we need a copy of your transcript through the last semester. In some cases, we can wait until the summer if you are graduating in the spring. Also, some persons are not comfortable sending these scanned items by e-mail and we understand. But, keep in mind that, when we receive them, we e-mail them to the Nanjing Bureau of Education.

If you do not currently have passport, you will need to apply for one. If this is the case, please request a quick processing from the passport agencies. There are companies that will assist you in the passport acquisition process. You can find them on the Internet.

Once we receive the above items, they are forwarded to Nanjing and a determination is made rather quickly. This usually just takes a few days. During that time, you will be contacted by our contact in the Bureau, Ms. Echo Ying. Echo will ask you a few follow-up questions and work out details. You should have your approval notice within a week.
